Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi and Relax
Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, our company representative will greet you. Later you will be transferred to the air-conditioned car to proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for independent activities.
Day 2 : Delhi full day sightseeing
Have breakfast at the hotel and later you will visit various attractions such as Red Fort – This monument is also known as “Lal Quila” represents the zenith of Mughal empire creativity, which was initiated by Shah Jahan in the year 1526. This architectural landmark represents fusion of Persian, Islamic and Hindu architectural style. Jama Masjid – It is the largest mosque in India and famously known as Masjid-i Jahan-Numa. This Mughal architectural marvel was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1658. It is made up of red sandstone and around 25000 people at a single point of time can offer prayer in this mosque. Qutub Minar – This monument was constructed in the year 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak and famously known as “Tower of Victory”. This Minar is surrounded by a lush green garden, which make it a perfect leisurely place for tourists coming from different parts of the world. Humayun’s Tomb – This mausoleum was constructed in year 1570 by Mughal emperor Humayun’s wife Bega Begum. It was the first garden-tomb in India, which inspired several major architectural buildings constructed on later stage. Day 3 : Delhi – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Have breakfast at the hotel and later drive towards Jaipur. En Route, visit Fatehpur Sikri – deserted city which was founded by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1569. It is one of the finest preserved collections of Indian Mughal architecture and comprised of many buildings. Later drive towards Jaipur and check-in the hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy buying handicrafts in any of the colorful markets. Return to hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Day 4 : Jaipur full day sightseeing
Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will leave for full day sightseeing in Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort -This fort was built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. It overlooks the Maota Lake and comprised of a temple and various courtyards. You can enjoy elephant ride on this fort. Jal Mahal- This palace is built of red sandstone and situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Jal Mahal was built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh and displays Mughal-Rajputana style of architecture. This palace is a five storey building that remains submerged in the water and only the topmost level is noticeable. City Palace- This big palace complex was built in 1932 by Maharaja Jai Singh II and has many buildings like Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal and others. It also has a museum with different galleries for artifacts, treatises on architecture, scholarly manuscripts, exquisite miniatures and rare paintings. Hawa Mahal – Famously known as Palace of Winds, Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The king constructed this palace for the royal women to see the everyday market activities through the windows. The beehive structure of this Palace is amazing and has many windows (Jharokhas) decorated with intricate designs. Jantar Mantar -This is one of the most famous astronomical observatories having various architectural instruments. It has fourteen devices that are mainly used for predicting eclipses, knowing the time, finding a star location and much more. Albert Hall Museum – This is the oldest museum of Rajasthan and situated in Ram Niwas Garden. Albert Hall Museum has a vast collection of artifacts such as colorful crystal works, metal sculptures, paintings, fire-arms and carpets. Day 5 : Jaipur – Agra
After having breakfast at the hotel, our company representative will transfer you the air-conditioned car as you travel towards Agra. After reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for short relaxation. Later you will visit other major tourist attractions like Agra Fort, Baby Taj. Later in the evening, you will visit the jewel of India – Taj Mahal at the time of sunset, which is a wonderful experience for every tourist coming to this magnificent city. Day 6 : Agra – Khajuraho
In the early morning, you are going to visit the unrivaled Taj Mahal -well-known for its beauty at the time of sunrise. Take some beautiful photos at this monument and cherish this moment for all the years to come. Return back to your hotel for relaxing and having breakfast. Later our representative will drive you to Khajuraho. On reaching this place, you will check in the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Day 7 : Khajuraho
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Eastern and Western temples, which were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. In total of 85 temples, only 22 still exist and are considered as world’s artistic wonders. You will see various erotic figures and artistic sculptures, which attracts tourist from different parts of the world. Return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay.
Day 8 : Khajuraho – Varanasi (by flight)
After having breakfast at the hotel and our company representative will drive you to the Khajuraho Airport to catch the flight to Varanasi. This holy city of India is famous for temples and Ghats, which attracts large number of travelers and devotees from all around the world. After arriving at Varanasi, our representative will transfer you to the hotel for short relax. In the afternoon, you will drive for half-day excursion to Sarnath, located 10 Km away from the city of Varanasi. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage center, where Lord Buddha had given his first sermon after achieving enlightenment. Return to the hotel for peaceful overnight stay.
Day 9 : Varanasi
Have breakfast at the hotel and embark upon sightseeing by visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a main temple of Varanasi that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The current shape of this temple was built in the year 1780 by princess of Indore, Late Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar. Continue your sightseeing by visiting Ramnagar Fort, which was constructed by Maharaja Balwant Singh in 18th century. This fort is made up of red sandstone and remains as the ancestral home of the Maharaja of Banaras. The premises of this fort house a museum and a temple. After this visit Assi Ghat, the southernmost Ghat in Varanasi, located at the assemblage of Assi and Ganges rivers. Then in the evening, you will visit Dasaswamedh Ghat, one of the main Ghats on the banks of river Ganges. Enjoy the evening Aarti at this ghat that attracts many devotees and tourists, who immerse earthen lamps in the holy water of river Ganges which gives a wonderful view at the time of sunset. On completion of sightseeing, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 : Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight)
After taking breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the Varanasi airport to board the flight for Delhi. Later you can board your flight for next destination or home.
